Pure water is one of the quiet foundations of exceptional farming. At Tallawanta, our herd drinks from a natural artesian spring drawn from deep beneath the earth.
This ancient water source rises from thousands of metres below the surface and is naturally filtered through layers of limestone rock before reaching the farm. Untouched and mineral rich, it provides a clean and reliable water supply for both our cattle and our crops.
Access to this natural resource is one of the defining features of our farm. It supports animal wellbeing, helps maintain pasture health, and plays an important role in the broader ecosystem of the property.
While many farming operations rely on surface water or external sources, Tallawanta’s artesian spring is part of the natural landscape that sustains our farm.
